Dear colleagues!

We are pleased to inform you that the 2nd Annual Russian-Korean Conference “Current issues of natural products chemistry and biotechnology” will be held in Novosibirsk, Russia, from March 15 to 18, 2010. The aim of the conference is to develop scientific relations between Korea, Russia and FSU countries and to enhance interactions and cooperation of industry and researchers working in the field of natural products chemistry and biotechnology.

Previous Russian-Korean conference was held in Gangneung, Republic of Korea, in June 2009. On behalf of the organizing committee we cordially invite the representatives of scientific research institutes as well as research-and-production companies of FSU and Korea to take part in the present Conference.

The scope of conference includes:

	Isolation, purification and identification of natural compounds
	Synthetic transformations of natural compounds
	Natural products derivatives application in medicinal chemistry
	Nutraceuticals and bioadditives of plant and marine origin
	New trends in technology and biotechnology of natural products for production of medicals, cosmetics, nutraceuticals and agricultural preparations

The conference will include oral communications (20-30 min) and poster sessions. Official language of the conference is English, working languages are Russian and Korean. In addition to scientific presentations and discussions on recent progress in the field, we are planning to organize a number of activities, including a reception, excursions and a conference banquet to promote mutual friendship and exchange of ideas.
