The black-veined white (Aporia crataegi (Linnaeus, 1758)) is no too abundant in Europe while in the southern West and Central Siberia it appears in mass quantities almost every year, to form giant congregations on the wet ground on sunny days. The Berd' River right bank at the village Legostaevo, Iskitim District, Novosibirsk Region, West Siberia, Russia. 13th of June 1994.
