Siberian territory is extremely dissimilar for both physical-climatic features and economic development. The Far North of Siberia is basically desert tundra and permafrost area, whereas to the south of Siberia there are regions with mild climate (grapes and water-melons ripen there in the open soil) and advanced industry. One can find fantastic diversity of landscapes, plants, animals and insects here in Siberia. Specific climate and natural conditions have built up specific ways of spending time in the wild forest...
When a Westerner hears "Siberia", images of frozen tundra and prison camps come to mind. But things are changing...
